On April 19, 2023, the Mount Vernon School District Board of Directors approved the Students/Staff calendar for the 2023-2024 academic year. The district greatly appreciates the support of our labor partners who contributed in developing the calendar. It is important to note that this work is separate from the district's ongoing initiative and exploration regarding the Student Focused Balanced Calendar work.  You will notice that the first day of school will be before Labor Day weekend.

If you would like to apply for the Madison Dual Language Program for the 2023-2024 school year, applications are available on Madison's website starting today.  Applications are due by Friday, April 28, 2023 at 5:00 PM. If you do not turn in a completed application by April 28th, your child may go on the waiting list. You will also have to fill out district registration paperwork if your child is not currently enrolled in the Mount Vernon School District, including entering kindergarten students.
